Dr. Daniel Higgins
Daniel has always had a passion for the human body, health and wellbeing. He studied Foundations in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Kent at Canterbury in the UK. As a young man he had witnessed his mother after multiple spinal surgeries struggle with every day activities. Thankfully his mother sought out Chiropractic care and is now happy, healthy and vibrant. After noticing the dramatic effects his mother had experienced through Chiropractic, Daniel decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic and set about the five-year training program. His pursuit led him to study at Macquarie University in Sydney where he completed the Bachelor of Chiropractic and the Masters of Chiropractic, while also qualifying in Musculoskeletal Acupuncture.
After graduation Daniel returned back to the UK and after completing the British Board exams in Chiropractic, started working in private practice. During this time Daniel was invited as a clinical supervisor to mentor Chiropractic students from the Murdoch University in Perth who took part in the Hands on India project in the Northern Indian region of Siliguri. Upon returning to the UK he realised Australia was where he was meant to be and set about making the move back to Australia, this time settling in Brisbane. Daniel is now back in private practice in Brisbane City and is excited about serving the people of Brisbane.
The primary technique used by Dr.Daniel is the Gonstead Method of Chiropractic. This technique is based on very specific analysis and adjustment techniques.
